Xometry is a publicly traded, AI-first manufacturing marketplace for custom parts.
I spent 10 weeks on the UX team working on key UX writing documents, decisions, research, and product copy.
Style Guide Development
Creating and maintaining a unified copy style guide is an essential part of ensuring consistency and clarity across the site.
I helped the UX Writing & Technical Content Manager refine and solidify this core component of the UX Writing department.
Questionnaire & Survey Design
I helped Xometry's User Research Manager design, write, and review cornerstone questionnaires and surveys to guide key business decisions.
Leveraged Qualtrics to design and implement surveys and Marvin to review responses.
Copy Testing
I conducted user tests to establish preferences and norms related to Xometry's formatting of measurements across the site.
Key Goals:
- Determine whether or not the way Xometry formatted measurements was consistent with industry standards and user expectations.
- Implement a change if needed and add a relevant standard to Xometry's Unified Copy Style Guide.

Product Copy
I worked with UX Design to create and refine both internal and external product copy.
I also created an internal dictionary for all of the terms related to our biggest copy project, the RMA (return merchandise authorization) user flow, and contributed to core Loft component design.
